Pioneers of Spread betting and the largest UK company

IG index is part of the IG Group Holdings plc, a UK company listed on the London Stock Exchange. The group has over 100,000 clients around the world, and makes more than one million transactions per month, 95% of them online.  The company was the pioneer of spread betting.  It was the world’s first spread betting company when it was established in the 1974 to give investors the opportunity to bet on movements in the price of gold.  Since then it has expanded rapidly, particularly since the mid-1990s. Its headquarters are in London, but it also has offices in America, Australia, Japan, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden and Luxembourg.

Currencies IG offers more than 60 currency pairings, with spreads on EUR/USD and USD/JPY from just 1 pip and EUR/GBP and GBP/USD from just 2 pips.
Stock Indices:A large choice of global indices including 1-point Daily FTSE and 2-point Daily Wall Street.

Shares Thousands of individual shares including all FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 shares, plus thousands of international shares.
